RENO, Nev. (AP)— Hundreds of people waited more than an hour in line to get into a Reno job fair.
Friday's event at the Grand Sierra Resort drew more than 1,000 job seekers.
A dozen or so companies and schools, including Wells Fargo, Avon and the Kla-Mo-Ya Casino of Chiloquin, Ore., had representatives at the event.
Some job seekers gave up and headed home after hearing about the long wait in line.
Others say the event was a waste of time because only few jobs were offered.
