Here's a look at some of the money Nevada would get from the final version of the $787 billion economic stimulus plan passing Congress on Friday. These numbers were compiled by House and Senate Democratic aides, and by governors' and legislatures' groups. The state's overall take from the bill is expected to be nearly $1.5 billion.
Selected programs:
—FMAP-Medicaid: $450 million.
—State stabilization funds: $315 million.
—Education: $323 million.
—Highways and bridges: $201 million
—Transit capital: $49 million
— Water quality projects, including wastewater: $20 million
—Labor department grants for dislocated workers: $14 million
— Labor department youth grants: $7.6 million
— Education department vocational rehabilitation: $3 million
—Special education money: $67 million
—Energy efficiency and renewable energy programs: $30 million
