RENO, Nev. (AP) _ Reno police say they've arrested a man suspected in several residential burglaries.

Officers were conducting surveillance in the Quail Run community Friday when they noticed 20-year-old Josue Hernandez leave his residence and jump a fence into a neighbor's back yard.

He returned to his home about 15 minutes later, and was arrested after officers confirmed the neighbor's house had been burglarized.

Officers say Hernandez admitted to several burglaries and property from several break-ins was recovered.

Detectives also are questioning his sister and girlfriend about pawning stolen jewelry.
